Prayer for Finals Week
16December 10, 2012 by David
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not flunk:
He keepeth me from lying down when I should be studying.
He leadeth me beside the water cooler for a study break:
He restoreth my faith in study guides.
He leads me to better study habits
For my GPA’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of borderline grades,
I will not have a nervous breakdown:
For thou are with me.
My prayers and my friends, they comfort me.
Thou givest me answers in moments of blankness:
Thou anointest my head with understanding.
My test paper runneth over with questions I recognize.
Surely passing grades and flying colors shall follow me
All the days of my examinations.
And I shall not dwell in this university forever.

Oh this is stellar! I’m sending it to my daughter now and sharing on Facebook!
Most excellent!
You’re going to do well.
Where’s your Facebook share? I copied and pasted but it’s so much easier with the share. Just a suggestion.
There is only a Facebook “Like” option that I can find “/ But there’s an email share option at the bottom of the post!
Go to Settings, then Sharing. At the bottom of the page under the Sharing buttons you drag and drop the Facebook icon. It’s better than just a “Like” button.
The Facebook option simply makes the “Like” button. The option for Facebook sharing isn’t available. I will try to find out what the problem is. Thank you for the advice!
You might have to go to a PC. There are some difficulties with those options on smartphones and tablets, even the WordPress app. If you can’t get it on a PC contact support. They are really good at getting back with you.
Or you can just paste a link to this page on fb.
That’s exactly what I did for now. But I will find that Facebook share button for you. It’s a drag and drop feature. Saves your readers some steps. I share a lot of blog posts I really like on my Facebook page.
Reblogged this on Abell2Live and commented:
A prayer we all have prayed in some form or another during our academic pursuits. I enjoyed this post, being a teacher myself and thought a re-blog would be appropriate.
This needs to be freshly pressed for al the students.
Valley of borderline grades?
I must have took a wrong turn at Albuquerque!
I always ended up in the Valley of Glaring Professors.
I actually started this blog as an escape from studying, so it’s nice to change that focus every once in a while :)
And I shall not dwell in this university forever.
For I shall a bursary for studies at another
And go get my Masters and PhD
For what is knowledge
If not to Pile higher and Deeper?
I should probably make those addendums – I’ll be heading to graduate school soon!
TAKE a bursary…
I wished I had read this two weeks ago. Finals week almost did me in. I was a wreck. Just gotta keep repeating, “this semester too shall pass”.
It’s a rough time fo the year. I actually made this blog last year as an escape from finals week. Hope it all turned out well for you!
